Deepwater licences in Eastern Indonesia

The West Papua IV and Aru Blocks were acquired from Niko Resources Limited in 2015.

This is a deepwater oil play within the Miocene-aged, New Guinea platform carbonate, with the potential to contain in excess of a billion barrels recoverable. We will acquire new 3D seismic in 2016 over the key leads and prospects. Once this has been fully processed and interpreted, we will determine whether to move ahead and drill in Q4 2017.
